At StudentScholars Private School, we welcome international students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 into a supportive, personalized, and academically focused learning environment.

Our small classes and individualized approach help students transition comfortably into the Canadian education system while developing the academic skills, English language abilities, and confidence they need to succeed.

Our International Student Program

​

JK to Grade 8 | Full-Time Program

 

Monday to Friday | 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

​

International students participate in our full-time academic program alongside our supportive school community.

Each student receives:

• Personalized learning goals

• Individualized instruction

• Daily academic support

• Ongoing assessment

• Progress monitoring and reporting

• Additional support in English, Mathematics, or other academic areas when needed

Our goal is to help every student feel confident, supported, and prepared to succeed in their Canadian education.

 

English Language Support

We understand that moving to a new country and learning in a new language can be a significant transition.

Our teachers provide support to students who are developing their English skills, including:

• Reading and vocabulary development

• Writing support

• Pronunciation practice

• Classroom communication

• Small-group language instruction

• In-class ESL support

Students are supported through gradual language development and classroom immersion, helping them build confidence while continuing their academic learning.

An additional ESL program fee may apply where required.

A Personalized Learning Experience

Every student learns differently.

Our Individualized Learning Program (ILP) allows teachers to identify each student's strengths, areas for development, and learning goals. Instruction can then be adapted to the student's academic level and pace.

With small classes and individualized attention, students have more opportunities to ask questions, receive feedback, and develop their skills.

International Student Admission Process

We aim to make the admission process as clear and straightforward as possible.

​

1. Submit an Application

Families submit the completed application form along with the required documents, including:

• Most recent school report card(s)

• Student passport

• Parent/guardian contact information

• English proficiency information, if applicable

• Application fee

2. Application Review

Our admissions team reviews the student's application and academic information.

Eligible students may receive a Conditional Letter of Acceptance (LOA) outlining tuition fees and any conditions of admission.

 

3. Complete Enrollment Requirements

Families must satisfy the applicable admission conditions and pay the required tuition and fees.

4. Receive the Official LOA

Once all requirements have been completed and payment has been received, the school will issue the Official Letter of Acceptance (LOA) for the student's study permit application, where applicable.

5. Prepare for Arrival

Once enrollment is confirmed, families receive information about:

• School orientation

• School supplies

• Uniform and materials

• First-week schedule

• Important school information

• Teacher introductions

We want every student to feel prepared and welcomed from their very first day.

Study Permit & Custodianship

International students may require a Canadian study permit, depending on their individual circumstances.

Families are responsible for meeting applicable Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requirements.

Where applicable, families may need to provide:

• Letter of Acceptance

• Custodianship documentation

• Proof of financial support

• Passport and identification documents

• Medical or insurance documentation

• Other documents required by IRCC

Students Under 17

Students under 17 who are not living with a parent or legal guardian in Canada may require an appropriate Canadian custodian, depending on their circumstances and current IRCC requirements.

Possible arrangements may include:

• Parent accompanying the child in Canada

• Relative or family friend residing in Canada

• Approved professional guardianship service

StudentScholars Private School does not provide immigration or legal advice. Families should consult IRCC or a qualified immigration professional for advice regarding their individual circumstances.

Accommodation

Because our international students are young, students must have an appropriate living and caregiving arrangement in Canada.

Students may:

• Live with a parent, or

• Live with an approved Canadian custodian

StudentScholars does not currently provide on-site housing or homestay placement.

Families who need assistance exploring accommodation options are welcome to contact our office for general guidance.

Tuition & Fees

All fees are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

​

Academic Year and Tuition Fees

The academic year runs from September to June, for a total of 10 months, divided into 3 semesters.

• Annual Tuition Fee (3 semesters / 10 months from September to June): $24,000

• Tuition Fee for Semesters 2 & 3 (6 months from January to June): $15,400

• Tuition Fee for Semester 3 (3 months from April to June): $8,700

• Application Fee: $250

• Materials Fee: $800

• ESL Materials Fee (if required): $800

Optional After-School Program

September–June | 3:00 p.m.–5:30 p.m.

• $8,000 annually for 10 months- 3 semesters

• $3,500 per semester

Summer Programs

Our Summer Programs offer students an exciting opportunity to continue learning, discover new interests, develop valuable skills, and enjoy a variety of engaging activities throughout July and August. With small class sizes and a diverse range of programs, we provide a supportive and enriching summer learning experience for every student.

Summer Camp Dates

• July Session: July 2–30

• August Session: August 3–31

Small Class Sizes: We welcome a maximum of 10 students per class to ensure personalized attention and a more engaging learning experience.

1. Enrichment Summer Camp

Tuition: $3,500 per month (July or August)

Program Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our Enrichment Summer Camp combines academics, creativity, communication, and hands-on learning to keep students engaged while building confidence and essential skills.

Program Highlights:

• Academics: Math and English

• Arts & Crafts: Creative expression and artistic exploration

• Music: Musical activities and skill development

• Public Speaking: Communication, presentation, and confidence-building skills

• ScholarBots: Engaging, hands-on learning experiences

• Drama: Imagination, performance, and self-expression

Materials are included in the tuition.

2. ESL (English as a Second Language) Summer Camp

Tuition: $2,500 per month (July or August)

Program Hours: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Our ESL Summer Camp helps students strengthen their English language skills in a supportive and engaging environment. Through structured lessons and interactive activities, students develop greater confidence in using English in everyday situations.

Program Highlights:

• Reading: Improve comprehension and reading fluency

• Writing: Develop writing skills and express ideas clearly

• Speaking & Communication: Build confidence in conversations and communication

• Listening: Strengthen listening comprehension

• Grammar: Improve sentence structure and language accuracy

Materials are included in the tuition.

3. STEM Summer Camp

Tuition: $4,000 per month (July or August)

Program Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our STEM Summer Camp introduces students to exciting opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and innovation. Students explore emerging technologies and develop problem-solving, logical thinking, and creative skills through hands-on learning.

Program Highlights:

• Robotics: Explore robotics through hands-on projects

• Coding: Develop computational thinking and programming skills

• Artificial Intelligence (AI): Discover AI concepts and applications

• ScholarBots: Engage in innovative, technology-focused learning activities

Materials are included in the tuition.

Apply Early

We encourage families to apply as early as possible. Study permit processing times and other immigration requirements can vary, and families should allow sufficient time for the application process, travel arrangements, and accommodation.

 

Study Permit Refusal & Refund Policy

If a student's study permit application is refused before the student's first day of school, families may be eligible for a refund of applicable tuition and refundable fees, less a $150 administrative fee, upon submission and verification of the official IRCC refusal letter.

​

If the student has already started attending school: Once a student has started school, school fees and any other fees paid are non-refundable.

​​

Families should review the complete refund policy before submitting tuition payments.
