At StudentScholars Private School, we proudly welcome international students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 into our individualized, small-class learning environment.

Academic Program (JK–Grade 8)

International students join our full-time school program, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Every student receives:

• Personalized learning targets

• Tailored instruction based on level and pace

• Daily academic support

• Ongoing evaluation and progress reporting

This program is ideal for students who may need extra support in English, Math, or general academics, or for families seeking a nurturing private school environment in Canada.

-We also offer a summer program during  the months of July & August. (9:00 am - 5:00 pm from Monday to Friday)

Admission Requirements

To apply for admission, families must submit:

✔ Completed Application Form

✔ Report cards from the most recent school year -(Translated into English if necessary)

✔ Copy of student’s passport

✔ Parent/guardian contact information

✔ Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)

✔ Application fee

Once reviewed, eligible applicants will receive a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) to use for their Study Permit application.

Study Permit Requirements (JK–Grade 8)

International students entering Kindergarten to Grade 8 in Canada must have a valid Study Permit.

To apply for a Study Permit, parents will need:

• Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from StudentScholars

• Custodianship forms (IRCC notarized)

• Proof of financial support

• Medical insurance documentation

• Passport & ID documents

Note: We do not provide immigration or legal advice but offer general guidance.

Custodianship (Required for Students Under 17)

All international students must have a Canadian custodian who is:

• A Canadian citizen or permanent resident

• Over 19 years old

• Responsible for the student’s care and safety

Parents must complete the official IRCC Custodianship Declaration form.

Custodian Options:

• Parent accompanying the child

• Relative or family friend living in Canada

• Professional guardianship service (if approved by the school)

Your child must have an approved custodian before beginning classes.

Accommodation Requirements

Because our students are young, StudentScholars requires that international students:

• Live with a parent, OR

• Live with an approved Canadian custodian

At this time, the school does not provide on-site housing or homestay placement, but we can guide families toward suitable options if needed.

Proof of accommodation is required before the student’s start date.

​English Language Support (ESL)

Many international students are learning English as a new language.
We offer:

• In-class ESL support

• Vocabulary and reading development

• Pronunciation practice

• Foundational writing support

• Language-based small group instruction

Our teachers support students through gradual immersion, ensuring they feel confident and successful.

International Student Tuition

*All fees are in Canadian dollars

Annual Tuition (September to June: 3 semesters) : Fall : $18,000 ($6,000 a semester)

Application Fee:  $200
Materials Fee: $750
ESL Program Fee (Additional Program): $550

Optional: Annual After-school Extra Curricular Programs (September - June: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm) - $6,000 ($2,000 a semester). Please find more information here

Enrichment Summer Camp Fee: (July & August): $2,750/ per month (includes materials)

Application Timeline

We accept international students on a rolling basis, with primary intake periods:

• Semester 1: September – December (Deadline: June 30th)

• Semester 2: January – March (Deadline: October 30th)

• Semester 3: April – June (Deadline: January 30th)

• Summer Camps - July & August (Deadline: April 30th)

Early applications are strongly encouraged to allow time for Study Permit processing. Usually it takes 2-3 months.

• School supply checklist

• Uniform and materials list 

• First-week schedule

• Teacher introductions

Students receive a gentle, supportive onboarding experience to help them settle comfortably.
